Staying committed to eating better (real food not processed food) and exercise can enhance your life and make it more enjoyable because you have energy and mobility. Make a habit out of your exercise activity. It is never a good idea to try and squeeze exercise into your schedule here and there because most of the time exercise will take a back seat. You would probably only work out when the spirit moves you. Instead, why not make exercising apart of your schedule.How? By taking take time to figure out what days and time of the day is most realistic for you to regularly exercise and try to aim for three times a week. Maybe you have to get up an hour early before work or re-arrange some other parts of your schedule. The goal is make exercising a routine, a habit and fun!

Once you commit to exercise, stick to it! By making a exercise routine commitment you will set yourself up for success,when you plan your day plan your workout first.

Every year we age and if you do not stay active it will become more challenging to move your body around and have energy to perform daily activities. Inactivity leads to higher rates of obesity, heart disease and early death. As we grow older, it becomes even more important to remain active to stay healthy and maintain our independence. So keep moving and do not stop, stick to exercising!

 

  • Schedule your exercise days and time.
  • Focus on eating more real food (lean meat, fruits, veggies) not processed junk food(chips, fried foods).
  • Stay consistent with your exercise program do not slack off or put off!
  • Remember if you are not healthy you cannot take care of or help anyone else (kids,parents,spouses) you become the burden.
  • You only get one body and only you can make healthier smarter choices!
  • If you don’t move it, you lose it!
